Easy / Moderate Hike

Daryl Knowles has offered to lead this Sunday, June 29 hike. Dogs will be allowed, but must remain on a leash at all times. The OnX summary reads:

This is an easy 6.6 mile out and back hike along the shores of Howard Prairie Lake. It starts at Grizzly Campground Day Use area, and turns around at Willow Point Campground, with views of the surrounding mountains. Great opportunities to see birds, wildlife and wildflowers.

Details:

Any Slopes member or non-member can join this hike if this is within your skill range.  A shuttle to Willow Point can be arranged for anyone looking for a shorter hike - just let Daryl know before the start of the hike.  A Jackson County Park Pass is needed to park at the park.  A day pass can be purchased at the kiosk at the park for $6.00

The hike time and other details, such as carpooling suggestions, will be sent out before the hike TO THOSE THAT HAVE REGISTERED, and will be based on the weather forecast. If you are not a member, either have a member that is also participating add you as their guest, or contact Daryl directly.
